We have a strong international community of english speaking people. People from the United States, England, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, and Australia all frequent our chat rooms daily. So no matter what part of the world you hail from, there's always a new friend here waiting to be made.
Teen and Adult Friendly
Our chat rooms are open to people of all ages from 13 and up. Teens age 13 to 19 and adults young and old are welcome. We maintain a profession staff of moderators on call 24 hours a day to ensure a safe and clean chatting experience for our younger chatters. Safety is our #1 priority.
Chat Rules
Please read and observe the following rules when using these chat rooms. Failure to follow the rules can result in you being banned from using the chat.
- No flooding or scrolling with text or emoticons.
- No advertising, promoting, or spamming other chat rooms or websites.
- Be respectful of other users and the chat staff.
- No cybering in main rooms.
- Do not post personal information such as full name, telephone number, or home address.
- No racism or hateful speech.
Chat Guide for New Users
Logging in
Simply enter your desired screen name into the login box and press the Connect button. The chat will load in 10-15 seconds after your session is authorized. It may take a few moments for the chat login box to load, so please be patient. If the login box does not load, you may need to reinstall java on your computer, or install the latest updates.
Selecting Your Avatar and Customizing Settings
Press the Settings button in chat to bring up the settings menu. Here you may select an avatar to represent yourself in chat. There are plenty of avatars to choose from, so pick something fun or something that matches your screen name.
There are also other options available in the settings menu, such as adjusting the font or chat sounds, and disabling private messages.
Private Messages
You may send a user private messages by double-clicking their name on the users list or highlighting their name and clicking the PM button. This will open a small window which you can use to chat with the user privately. If a user sends you a private message, you may answer it by clicking the message in chat.
Remember, it can be considered rude to send another user excessive unwanted private messages. Harassing a user via private messages can get you banned. You may opt to disable other users from private messaging you in the Settings Menu.
Moving to Another Room
By clicking on the Rooms tab in chat you will see the full list of available rooms for you to chat in. Double-click a room or highlight it on the list and click the Enter button to move to another room. Feel free to explore all our exciting chat rooms!
